You can delete your HanQuest account and all of its data yourself, from inside the app — it takes about ten seconds and doesn't require contacting us.
Lost access to the app or your device? Email privacy@hanquest.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my HanQuest account". We verify the request comes from that address and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually far sooner), then confirm by reply.
Deleted permanently: your account and email address, your password hash, your profile (name, avatar, level, XP, coins, streak), and every learning record — mastery and review schedules, chapter progress, daily quests, collected character cards, achievements and items. This cannot be undone, and progress cannot be restored afterwards.
Kept, but no longer linked to you: anonymous AI usage counters (feature name, model, token counts, timestamp) that we need for cost accounting. Your account identifier is stripped from these rows, so they can no longer be traced back to you. Backups that still contain your data are rotated out within 14 days.
