These terms are an agreement between you and lenna ("we", "us"), Honghuayuan Community, Nantou Subdistrict, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China（中国广东省深圳市南山区南头街道红花园社区）, covering your use of the HanQuest app and website. By creating an account you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You need an account to save progress. Give us a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and don't share the account. You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at privacy@hanquest.app if you think someone else has access.
All ten cities and every learning feature are available at no charge, and there are no in-app purchases. If we introduce a paid plan later, we'll show the price and terms clearly before you're ever asked to pay, and existing features you already have won't be taken away mid-journey without notice.
In-game coins, hearts, XP, streaks, pets and outfits have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and can't be transferred between accounts.
Please don't:
AI conversation is subject to a daily fair-use limit so that one account can't exhaust the service for everyone. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, and we'll tell you why.
We work hard on the accuracy of our vocabulary, grammar notes and translations, but HanQuest is a learning game, not a certified language qualification or a translation service. AI-generated character replies can be wrong or awkward. Don't rely on the app for anything consequential (legal, medical, contractual, or safety-critical translation).
The app, its lessons, artwork, sound and code belong to us or our licensors, and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning use only. The sentences you type stay yours; you give us permission to process them as needed to run the features you're using (see the Privacy Policy).
You can delete your account at any time in Me → Settings → Account → Delete account, which erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or discontinue the service — if we shut the service down, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export or take stock of your progress.
The app is provided "as is". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (currently zero) or the total amount you have actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero while HanQuest is free to use). Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, and if you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and notify you in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use HanQuest after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, with disputes submitted to the courts of Nanshan District, Shenzhen（中华人民共和国·广东省深圳市南山区人民法院）, and disputes go to the courts of the People's Republic of China, with disputes submitted to the courts of Nanshan District, Shenzhen（中华人民共和国·广东省深圳市南山区人民法院） — unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim locally.
